Software Test Developer Jobs

About This Opportunity

As a member of our Application Engineering team, you will make an impact by using test automation, software engineering, and testing best practices. You will define, design, and build automated tests, and test mockers, interfaces as well as our CI/CD pipelines. We are an Agile team concentrating on Ericsson’s Assurance product.

What You Will Do

• Approach test scenarios from our customer's perspective
• Partner with Developers to implement tests at all levels of the test pyramid
• Work with developers in Cross Functional Teams
• Help define test strategies, across the development organization.
• Create technical and design documentation.
• Working with global teams
• Consider test scenarios during backlog refinement and sprint planning
• Participate in the implementation and monitoring of CI/CD pipelines for new products and features.
• Work in an Agile environment taking responsibility to drive requirements to delivery.
• Code new and maintain existing automated tests and other test tools.
• Identify areas of opportunities and improvements, then drive them to closure.

You will bring

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Experience developing stubs and mockers.
• Solid knowledge in JavaScript, Helm, Kubernetes, Linux, Docker, Jenkins, REST API’s
• Experience with K6 would be an advantage.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Has the ability to learn quickly and is a teammate.
• Familiarity with version control systems (GIT)
• Good understanding of microservices architecture in Cloud Native deployment.

This role reports to Software Developement Manager.
