Essential Responsibilities

• Ensure quality standards and principles are used throughout test development lifecycle.
• Partner with technology, manufacturing and quality teams to identify and resolve production test issues and recommend improvements.
• Design and develop cost-effective turnkey test solutions for production, service and PCBA supplies, based on the requirements set by organization.
• Define and improve test strategies and plans to drive productivity and quality.
• Create and periodically update the test requirements and design documentation.
• Interface with Design group (NPI) to provide support during new product launches and engineering releases.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor or master’s degree in computer science or electronics engineering technology
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a manufacturing test engineer in a high volume manufacturing environment.

Desired Characteristics

• Proactive approach to tasks - displays initiative.
• Extensive experience with PXI and alternate switching hardware.
• Experience with GPIB, Ethernet TCP/IP, CANBUS, PROFIBUS, MODBUS AND DEVICE NET communications protocols.
• Flexible and adaptable: Open to change and modification of tasks.
• Excellent analytical and problem –solving skills possess experience in the field of power systems
• Deep knowledge and experience with electronic test equipment
• Self-motivated; can work well individually and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Python, C/C++, Lab Windows CVI and multithreading programming.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with designing, programming, integrating and troubleshooting data acquisition systems.
• Knowledge and experience with database programming, including SQL, Access, and Excel
• Understanding of high-speed PCB/PCBA design concepts and experience in schematic capture
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive and open approach to conflict resolution.
• Ability to work individually as well as in a team environment and ability to share ideas.
• Excellent organizational skills
