Service Automation Co-Op/Intern, GCC Operations


Job location: our office in Ottawa, Canada or Remote, Canada


Term
length: 8 or 12 months starting September 2023


About The Team


The GCC (Global Customer Care) Operations team manages the operational processes and tools used by the department to effectively deliver a best-in-class customer experience. TheService Automation Co-Op/Intern will be part of the Service Automation Team to help deliver the tools and solutions that enable various aspects of automation for the GCC.


What you will do


  • May perform additional duties as assigned
  • Work with Solutions Architect / Technical Lead and IT Team to implement and deploy tools and solutions
  • Document solutions and tools deployed to GCC application stack
  • Explore and present new platform/tool features to use in future solutions
  • Participate in solution testing and validation
  • Participate in solution testing and validation
  • Prototype and implement new capabilities for the suite of tools leveraged by the GCC organization


What we are looking for


  • A self-starter with 1-2 years of software development experience
  • Willing to learn new tools and technologies
  • Excellent communication skills


Things that Would Definitely Help


  • Programming with Visual Studio IDE
  • Familiarity with interface design and development using HTML / CSS / Javascript
  • Familiarity with SQL
  • Experience developing in Java
