Your Role and Responsibilities

As a QA Test Specialist at IBM, your analytical and technical skills will directly impact the quality of the software we create.

Come work in an agile environment where you will help each release reach the next level. Whether the testing is manual or automated you will hold a key role in releasing the best deliverables to both IBMers and clients.

You will be able to grow your skills by using other IBM technologies, such as the Watson Studio and Watson Machine Learning range of AI products, as part of our solutions, and by developing in both on premise and public Cloud environments.

Your Role and Responsibilities

The Cloud Pak for Data SVT Integration Automation team is looking for a QA Test Specialist to join our team for a position based in the Markham, Toronto Software lab.

As a member of the team, you will be responsible for test scenario and test automation development working as part of the wider community within IBM Cloud Pak for Data.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (not just manual testing)
• Knowledge of Cloud technologies
• 3+ years’ experience of Java automated testing tools, preferably Selenium.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• The ability to take ownership of problems and desire to see them through to resolution.

Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise

• Github, Zenhub
• Jenkins
• Expertise in CI/CD
