Software Quality Assurance Analyst

Summary

Eyelit Inc. is seeking our next Software Quality Assurance Analyst to participate in the Quality Assurance process of its state-of-the-art manufacturing management software suite. In the role, you will create test plans and develop automated test suites and test cases to ensure proper software functionality.

In this key role, you will be able to leverage your effective written and verbal communication skills in close coordination and communication with the development team and customers. Your initiative, strong self-motivation and focus on results will contribute to our standards of excellence in our expanding organization.

The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in software development principles, Java programming language, and have experience with automated test tools.

Location

This position reports through our corporate office in Mississauga, ON. Employees can work from home until the office reopens and then will be expected to work a hybrid schedule. Candidates living in the Greater Toronto Area will be given preference.

Your Contributions

• Work with internal team members and customers to identify and pinpoint problem areas
• Develop automated test suites and test cases for testing the entire suite of products
• Perform regression testing of applications
• Lead or participate in other assigned projects
• Create test plans based on functional understanding of application issues

What We Are Hoping To Find In Your Background

• General knowledge of Java programming is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited college or university
• Knowledge and intermediate use of software testing principles and practices required
• A minimum of 1 year experience in quality assurance testing
• Knowledgeable in software development principles and automated test tools preferred. QF Test is currently being used in house, but experience with any testing tool would be acceptable.
