Position – Sr. QA Automation

Location – Mississauga, ON

Duration – 5+ Months

Mobile, Web and Desktop testing experience including test planning, execution and reporting product status to deliver a high-quality software product.

• Document’s findings and performs root cause analyses. Recommends solutions and improvements to existing standards and procedures; collaborates with other areas in technology to develop new standards and procedures.

• Experience working in an agile development environment. Ability to work design process into agile methodology.

• Ensures all corrective actions are assigned, documented, and completed.

• Creating Test cases, Test Scripts and Test Execution.

• Gathers, maintains, and reports on quality metrics.

• Work within Agile project teams, continuously releasing application software and support of continuous integration processes.

• Acts as advisor and mentor for junior members of the team.

• Ability to work on multiple parallel projects.

• Leverage test plans to incorporate automation tests as part of the build process.

• Analyze requirements and Execute tests, document testing requirements and processes for all applications to ensure QA policies and standards are met.

• Ability to automate all three UI, API and DB components.

Technology Skills:

• Strong experience in an IT Quality role. Ability to work independently or within groups on projects assigned

• Requires in-depth knowledge, understanding and analytical thought. Exhibits comprehensive knowledge of several areas within IT Quality and has a good understanding of the industry.

• Strong understanding of testing processes. In depth understanding of the Systems Development Lifecycle and solid experience in several phases of systems development, preferably in testing program management. Must demonstrate confidence in their abilities.

• Should have working in Test Driven Development environment.

• Strong understanding and hands-on experience on Selenium, Webdriver / WebdriverIO.

• Strong understanding on Cucumber concepts and how cucumber works in conjunction with Selenium.

• Strong understanding on Cypress tool and have good JS knowledge.

• Strong understanding of Database concepts. Knowledge of Mongo DB is a plus.

• Strong understanding of API Testing concepts.

• Strong understanding of OOPs concepts.
