Junior Bookkeeper (3-Month Position)

We're excited to announce that we're looking to add a Junior Bookkeeper to our growing team at our office in Markham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a minimum of 1-year experience in bookkeeping, looking to advance their career.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with budget preparation
• Regularly maintain detailed financial records, ledgers, and reports
• Manage invoices, and conduct bank reconciliations
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

Requirements:

• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Strong understanding of business and income tax worksheets and computations
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Sage is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
• Minimum 1-year experience in bookkeeping

This is a full-time position (5 days per week at our Markham office), no remote work will be considered at this time. Please note, there is a possibility of transitioning into a permanent, full-time role after the 3-month period based on performance.
