Overview Of The Role

Reports to IT Director, Digital Solutions - IoT, and has responsibility for IoT technology platforms and helps with solution architectures that digitally enable business functions and operations across the enterprise.

Saputo is seeking a pragmatic IT Specialist, Digital Solution – IoT who aims to develop their skills in terms of architecture in a global environment and can lead the development of scalable solutions that leverages Saputo’s IT/OT investments while recognizing net new relevant digital technologies that support value-add data management, strengthen shop floor integration, and deliver operating performance improvements within our dairy processing facilities.

The role will lead, review and approve viable technology options that conform to IT standards and support the business in the attainment of targeted end objectives. On an ongoing basis, this role will work with IT and business stakeholders to translate business needs into requirements, identify solution options, and develop deployment plans including estimates for implementation.

This role will have a broad understanding of the ERP and non-ERP global applications, how they are used to enable business processes, and the relationship to innovative IoT digital technologies that can further enhance benefit realization for Saputo.

For areas of responsibility, this individual will provide direction and/or coordinate execution efforts within cross-functional teams of business SMEs, IT resources, and 3rd party vendors. The individual will play a key role in contributing to the development of manufacturing automation capabilities using machine-to-machine communications and IoT platforms that collect data, control specific connected devices and software components, and monitor processes within our industrial production workflows.

An asset is extensive knowledge of Azure Cloud environment, Industry 4.0 and IoT technologies that are current and progressing in market.

How You Will Make Contributions That Matter:

• Responsible to maintain and operate our Identify Access Management platform, configure and maintain new tenants, manage user access permissions, act as the second line of support for issues related to the platform, escalate to the vendor until final resolutions, proactively communicate scheduled maintenance to the users.
• Develop and manage global IoT solution portfolio
• Develop and maintain documentation for sustainment of future state systems and platforms
• Develop and report usage dashboards
• Maintain knowledge base of leading-edge industry tools, technologies, and trends
• Lead/coordinate design of end-to-end IoT enabling architectures and the delivery of solutions meeting the business requirements
• Responsible to maintain and operate our Digital Signage platform; create and maintain proper user access, follow up the deployment of new devices, escalate new issues to the vendor and bring it to final resolution.
• Collaborate across core IT functions in cybersecurity, infrastructure, network & telecom, application & database to create end-to-end integrated solutions in alignment to global IT strategy
• Develop solutions using IaaS, PaaS and SaaS in a CICD devops environment applying the well architected framework.
• Insure you meet the committed SLA from the solution you have designed and deployed in a full production environment.

You Are Best Suited for The Role If You Have the Following Qualifications:

• SSO, SAML, OpenID, IdP, IAM, MSFT Active Directory
• Understand the fundamental differences between MaaS, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and where they best fit into the end to end solution
• Some level of understanding on Digital Twins, Power BI, Real Time Analytics, AI/ML, Big Data
• Ability to collaborate with other teams to achieve goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent French and English written and verbal communication skills (Spanish is a plus)
• Strong written and communication skills to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Can work independently with minimal supervision and direction
• 5+ years of Azure Cloud experience
• Certification: minimum AZ-900 (AZ-220 and/or AZ-300 preferred)
• Protocols : MQTT, HTTP, Websockets, OPC-UA
• Familiar with ITIL and ITSM
• IT cybersecurity models for OT
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices
• Coding experience in javascript, .NET, C#, Terraform (SQL, KQL is a plus)
• Strong experience with tools and development frameworks such as bash, PowerShell, NPM, VSC, GIT, Docker, K8S, ReactJS.
• Familiar with the concept of well architected framework
• Understand the fundamental differences between wireless protocols used in IoT: WiFi, LORAWAN, 5G
• Strong Experience in Infrastructure as Code applied to DevOps, DevSecOps.
• Experience in embedded electronic applied to IoT gateways is a plus.
