Kelly is seeking two Communication & Engagement Specialists to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving communication, stakeholder engagement, and change management efforts. Our client will be part-taking in one of the largest ERP systems changes in North America and needs your help making the process seamless! This project will have a large-scale impact on over 13,000 end users/stakeholders.
This enterprise-wide initiative aims to implement standardized processes, ways of working, and data supported by Oracle Cloud and Maximo ERP systems. As a Communication & Engagement Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and delivering various communication activities to inform and involve internal and external stakeholders, ensuring awareness and understanding of the program.
A great candidate for this role would be passionate about not only written communication but visual communication and comfortable with script writing, video and PowerPoint presentations; someone with a creative eye! You will be essential to helping end users to digest this exciting and new streamlined process! Moving from various ERP system platforms to one specific: Oracle Cloud and Maximo.
Duration: 1 year and 6 months (August 2023 - Feb 2025)
Location: Toronto, Ontario (Open to applicants in Calgary or Edmonton as other offices are there)
Key Responsibilities:
Communications:
- Create multimedia content (audio/video) for business scenarios, including scriptwriting.
- Develop and execute enterprise, stakeholder-specific, and program communication strategies.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise communication processes and brand standards.
- Advise and support senior leaders and teams in planning and delivering effective communications.
- Maintain program ELink content, stakeholder teams channels, and communication templates.
- Maintain accurate program SharePoint sites, content, apps, presentations, and other materials.
- Manage the approval process for the timely delivery of communications.
Engagement:
- Conduct informational gatherings and engage with change agent networks.
- Support culture and behavior strategies to reinforce system and process changes introduced by the Unify Program.
- Develop content, logistics, platforms, and measurements for effective events such as roadshows, showcases, and lunch & learns.
- Collaborate with Change Specialists and business unit change teams to plan and execute campaign strategies.
Change Management:
- Work closely with Change Specialists to drive change and business readiness activities across the enterprise.
- Execute strategies to support the sustainment and reinforcement of system and process changes.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in creating multimedia content and using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with acute attention to detail.
- Demonstrated experience in managing stakeholders and executing change management activities.
- Proven experience in change initiatives, preferably involving system and process changes.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, particularly SharePoint, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- 4-7 years of progressively responsible experience in stakeholder management, change management, and communications.
- Related university degree and/or professional designation (e.g., Business, Organizational Behaviour, Psychology, Marketing, Communications, or Education).
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of Adobe Suite and graphic design is desirable.
- Certifications such as PROSCI, PMP, or Adult Education are preferred.
- Experience in design, brand development, and project management is a plus.
- Familiarity with Enbridge business units and central function processes is an asset.
Working Conditions:
- Travel to other locations may be required.
- High visibility and stress levels due to managing competing interests and providing operational oversight.
- Normal office working conditions.
