Intern - Engineering Intern

• Participate in developing innovative programming for programmable logic controller and eventually for operator interface, as well as developing documentation tools related to these programs. 
• Assist the production engineering team by participating in various projects involving electrical work and controls.  Participate in developing electrical plans while maintaining a technical support to the production team. The intern will have access to a specialised program for designing control panels (See Electrical Expert).
• Program controllers with RSLogix 5000 / Studio 5000 using the newly developed approach while using appropriate language (Ladder, SFC, Function Block et Structured Text) and perform machines start-ups. 
• Assist the research and development engineering team with current and future systems documentation. 
• Participate and assist the electrical team during system start-ups and troubleshooting. Tasks may include calibrating engines, adjusting parameters, detecting and correcting wiring issues. 
• Program operator interfaces with FactoryTalk View Studio. 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Knowledge of Allen-Bradley operator interfaces (PanelView Plus 6 700 et 1000, PanelView Component C400 and C600) Functional English
• S2 or S3 level intern
• Knowledge of Allen-Bradley programmable logic controllers (CompactLogix L3x, ControlLogix L7x, MicroLogix)
