Mechanical Engineering Intern Jobs

We are seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our R&D team and contribute to the design and development of high-end lighting products. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced engineers and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, materials, and technologies related to high-end lighting products.
• Participate in prototype assembly, testing, and evaluation.
• Collaborate with the R&D team to design and develop high-end lighting products, including fixtures, lamps, and control systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, industrial designers, and manufacturing engineers, to ensure product design meets performance, cost, and manufacturability requirements.
• Assist in the creation of 3D models, detailed engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
• Conduct research and analysis to support the development of new product concepts and improvements to existing designs.
• Support the team in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical design issues throughout the development process.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• A portfolio or examples of previous projects or coursework is a plus.
• Enthusiasm for high-end lighting design and a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Familiarity with prototyping techniques and tools.
• Strong theoretical knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
