We are seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our R&D team and contribute to the design and development of high-end lighting products. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced engineers and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and innovative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, materials, and technologies related to high-end lighting products.
- Participate in prototype assembly, testing, and evaluation.
- Collaborate with the R&D team to design and develop high-end lighting products, including fixtures, lamps, and control systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, industrial designers, and manufacturing engineers, to ensure product design meets performance, cost, and manufacturability requirements.
- Assist in the creation of 3D models, detailed engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
- Conduct research and analysis to support the development of new product concepts and improvements to existing designs.
- Support the team in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical design issues throughout the development process.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- A portfolio or examples of previous projects or coursework is a plus.
- Enthusiasm for high-end lighting design and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Familiarity with prototyping techniques and tools.
- Strong theoretical knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
