Job Description

Our Client, is a service provider to the insurance industry that arranges temporary accommodations across Canada for policyholders who have been displaced by an insurance claim (i.e. Fire, Water, Flood damage).


They have set themselves apart as one of the fastest-growing companies in the market. Due to rapid growth, they are seeking a highly motivated Inside Sales Coordinator to be part of this dynamic and growing team.


This is a newly established role in the business. The successful candidate will be a self-starter and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment of a start-up company that is experiencing significant growth and pivoting into an enterprise business model. The inside salesperson will report into the operations team, but also have strong collaborations with the field sales team by supporting our service selling goals through established clients.



Role & Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional B2B customer support and experience to build a concierge (white-glove) service model.
  • Supporting the claims operations team and field sales team to bridge relationship-selling goals in the market.
  • Inbound Sales Account Management – focusing on upselling and positioning our service value proposition on an “on-the-job” basis.
  • Provide service-focused selling solutions to insured, insurer, supply management partnerships, sales team, and management when necessary.
  • A thorough and detail-oriented person driven by rolling up their sleeves and participating, but also developing your own creative strategies to improve industry partner relations.
  • Updating claim files / CRM with resolutions to issues managed and overcome to build a library of best practices for the claims coordinators to reference and minimize escalation requirements.
  • Being the point-person on escalated claim inquiries and resolutions with the Claims Team to support adjuster phone calls and escalations between parties.


Candidate Requirements:

  • Fluent in English – both written and verbal (bi-lingual in French is considered an asset, not required)
  • Proven B2B and B2C negotiation experience with 2 or more years of experience in a similar role to build best practices and processes in a start-up business model.
  • Attention to detail with an organized approach and advanced written communication skills.
  • Conflict management experience, service-focused, and solution-driven.
  • Excellent communication and proactive listening skills
  • This is an inbound sales role and will not require prospecting or cold call selling. The inside salesperson will have an established list of clientele (property claim adjusters) to service and build relations while the claims team manages the policyholder claims.
  • A strong collaborator who thrives in problem-solving and critical thinking, where investigating and gathering information will drive successful resolutions.
  • Market and Product Knowledge in Insurance, Real-Estate, Tenancy, Property Management, or Travel & Tourism industry is considered an asset.


Location & Commitments:

  • Ability to sit & work long hours from a desk location.
  • Reliable transportation is required – on-site parking is provided.
  • Permanent, Full-Time position
  • On-site requirements to collaborate and drive solutions with peers and management in a timely manner.
  • Available to provide additional evening and weekend claims escalation support as required.
  • Resilience in joining a profitable start-up business while entering an enterprise in growth mode.
  • Standard working hours (8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday)
