Our MSP client in Toronto is looking for a IT Team Lead

Role: IT Operations Team Lead

Salary: $100K-$120K plus bonus

Location: Toronto (Mainly Remote)

As the IT Operations Team Lead, you will responsible for providing the strategic direction for the infrastructure function and lead the planning, installation, maintenance, and upgrade of IT systems and client implementations within a Managed Services environment

You will be responsible for leading and managing daily operations and provide a reliable and highly available server, network, and IT infrastructure service to users

You will manage the coordination of resources to ensure that work objectives are consistently met and that the MSP client achieve customer and operational excellence.

Requirements:

• Manage the organization's IT budget and client and vendor relationships
• Develop and implement strategies for the organization's IT operations, including the deployment, maintenance, and support of all IT systems and infrastructure
• Work closely with business leaders to understand and support their IT needs
• Identify client gaps and environments, for upgrades
• Possess Account Management capabilities
• Ability to lead and manage the IT operations team, including assigning tasks, training, and performance management
• Possess strong technical skills and act as a hands-on technical lead and handle escalation for level 3 tickets
• Standardize new procedures for efficiencies
• Oversee the management and performance of the organization's IT systems and infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage
• Manage clients infrastructure and Azure implementation and migrations
• Ensure the security and compliance of the organization's IT systems and infrastructure
• Actively work on level 3 ticket escalations, Azure AD, Azure network, Azure virtual servers, migrations and firewalls
• Collaborate with other members of the IT leadership team to develop and implement IT policies and procedures, standardize practices

Qualifications:

• Strong technical skills and hands-on experience with troubleshooting level 3 tickets
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) Environment.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT operations, with experience in a senior or team lead function
• Experience with Azure Infrastructure and implementation, virtual machines, Firewalls, Azure AD
• Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team
• Strong understanding of IT systems and infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage
• Experience with budget management and vendor relationships is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• Experience with security and compliance standards and best practices
