Inclusion Community Engagement Manager

The Pacific Autism Family Network is seeking an enthusiastic Inclusion Community Engagement Manager.
OVERVIEW:
Our Inclusion Community Engagement Manager is an integral part of the PAFN team. They will join our team in providing strategic direction, leadership, and daily management of the PAFN’s community involvement and engagement with our partners. They will work closely with our PAFN Leadership team, and others to develop/implement community action plans, establish potential fundraising opportunities and manage a calendar of community events & excel in stewardship.
This full time role will be based at PAFN events in the community, and also at our PAFN Hub in Richmond.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION:
Partnership Development & Stewardship:
• Manage relationships with corporate and community partners, by networking with potential and current donors, Board Members, and volunteers to nurture their interest in an inclusive community through PAFN;
• Be a visible and enthusiastic advocate for PAFN in the community and support the organization by attending events, making presentations, and networking with targeted audiences to inform them about PAFN and opportunities to support our inclusion drive;
• Work with the Marketing team to develop and implement multi-channel communication strategies using the existing marketing and strategic plan to increase awareness and clarify giving opportunities;
• Provide guidance and support to the senior leadership in all community engagement initiatives;
• Work with 3rd party contractors on event coordination and development to raise both funds and awareness of PAFN’s impact;
• Be active with all current community partners;
• Add to events calendar that will be shared with leadership team;
• Work with leadership team to implement membership program;
• Seek out, new opportunities for PAFN to partner with or events that align with our mission;
• Provide events & stewardship updates to PAFN leadership team.

The Inclusion Community Engagement Manager has many roles and responsibilities. The employee must be able to approach all activities with a high sense of professionalism, dedication to the organization’s values and with a strong understanding of our inclusive drive.
Specific requirements of the role are:
• An outgoing personality, with a passion for PAFN’s inclusion drive;
• Solid relationship building skills;
• Experience working with and supporting people with various abilities;
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada;
• Must reside in the BC Lower Mainland area.

Salary: $60,000 / year
