Job Description

Hays Human Resources division in Ontario are partnered with our client, a leader in the Property and Real Estate industry across North America to hire a Human Resources Assistant.


Your new Company


The business brings over 40 years’ experience, and own and manage a variety of Commercial, Retail and Residential assets across North America. Due to continuous growth and progression planning, the business is hiring a Human Resources Assistant to join the established and continually growing HR team at their head offices in Mississauga.


Your new Role


As the Human Resources Assistant, reporting into the Human Resources Manager, you will support the Human Resources Generalist group in a variety of administrative functions. Your day to day may consist of, but not be limited to the following; attending meetings with the HR Manager and taking meeting minutes, following up with the HR manager to schedule calendar, assisting with coordinating interview schedules with candidates and hiring managers, compiling paperwork, data entry, supporting benefits administration and making changes as required in the system, driving the security check process, setting up calipers for behavioral assessments, collecting and following up on invoices, troubleshooting and testing HRIS systems, and anything further required for the HR group.


What you’ll need to Succeed


To succeed as the Human Resources Assistant, you will bring education relating to Human Resources, in the form of a BA Degree, HR/ HRM Certification, and/ or CHRP (in pursuit or achieved), you will also bring some experience relating to Human Resources, in an Administrative capacity. You will be a fantastic communicator both orally and written, you will be detail oriented and very organized. You will enjoy and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
