Job Description
Job Title: Human Resources Assistant - Data Entry/ Remote Work


Job Summary


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Human Resources Assistant. This is a part-time position that can be done remotely, offering flexible working hours. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately entering and maintaining HR data, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. As an entry-level role, this position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development in the field of human resources.


Responsibilities


  • Support the HR team in organizing various administrative tasks such as filing documents, scheduling appointments, etc.
  • Update and maintain employee records on a regular basis to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist with compiling reports from HR databases as needed.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies or procedures promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless flow of information related to employee data.
  • Accurately enter employee information into the HR database, including personal details, employment history, benefits enrollment, etc.


Skills


  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with employees at all levels within the organization.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while handling large amounts of data entry work.
  • Proficient computer skills including experience using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.


Qualifications


  • Familiarity with Canadian employment laws/regulations would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Prior experience in data entry or administrative roles is desirable but not mandatory; this position is open for entry-level candidates who are eager to learn about human resources practices.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in Human Resources is preferred but not required.


Pay Rate


The pay rate for this position ranges from $19-$45 per hour based on qualifications and experience level.
