The Role

We are on the search for a General Manager for a growing location in Newmarket, ON.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing studio procedures, managing staff and scheduling
• Manage and drive revenue streams: memberships, private training, teacher training and retail
• Recognize areas of improvement and using sound decision making to implement change
• Generate and achieve personal sales goals, while training and assisting Sales Reps to meet their numbers
• Responsible for growing sales and providing exemplary customer service

Requirements:

• The right candidate will have excellent sales and management expertise
• An affinity and passion for fitness.
• Highly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• 2+ years of retail/service sales and/or fitness sales experience
• Ability to excel in a fast changing, diverse environment.
• 2+ years of Management experience
• Solid writing and grammar skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Team focussed - work harmoniously with team members, clients and the general public.
• Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone and via email
• Professional, punctual, reliable and neat.
• Proficiency with computers and relevant software.
• Trustworthy and ability to handle confidential information.
