As a Forecasting and Market Insights Associate, you will be developing monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts for key brands. This role will contribute to the annual 10-year strategic plan for the Canadian affiliate.


In addition to forecasting, you will be responsible for all scorecard reporting for each brand on a monthly basis.


You are core member of each product team to help inform key strategic decisions for improved performance based on current trends and anticipated future performance trends.


Responsibilities


  • Streamline insights from the sales teams and provide them with digestible and valuable market insights.
  • Partner with the Marketing, and Pricing, Reimbursement, & Access teams to monitor and provide market insights to the brand and sales teams on competitor performance in the market.
  • Monitor product supply and proactively inform supply chain of demand forecast changes on a monthly basis.
  • Responsible for secondary data analysis as needed including competitive intelligence.
  • Lead primary and secondary market research projects as needed Influence business partners to improve decision-making through a better understanding of the market.
  • Update revenue models on a quarterly basis based on demand trends, while also providing timely updates to the supply chain group to ensure Lilly is meeting expected demand with accurate supply.
  • Lead business case development for price approvals and/or commercial buy ups.
  • Demand forecasts for key products Monitor and track performance against monthly demand forecasts.
  • Must have experience with utilizing multiple data sets/sources for forecasting purposes – including market research, IQVIA, epidemiology, publications, etc.
  • Revise and update forecast models on a quarterly basis
  • Lead the bi-annual sales incentive forecasting process in partnership with the Business Unit Leader, Marketing Leader, and Sales Director.
  • Lead the annual Strategic Planning process and Business Planning for key products with the full cross-functional team (Medical, Marketing, Pricing, Reimbursement & Access, Sales).


Minimum Requirements


  • Experience using data management and visualization solutions (tableau, PowerBI)
  • Bachelor’s degree in the field of science, or business administration
  • 3 +years of Canadian forecasting and analytics experience within pharmaceutical/biotech industry
  • Deep understanding of the principles of Market Research and Forecasting

Additional Information


This role is determined to be a flexible worker, where on-site presence in the Toronto office is expected to be 4-12 days per month, as determined by your manager and business needs.
