Analyst, Insights – About this role
Working closely with the VP, Insights, the Analyst provides essential support in the creation and maintenance of standardized research products. Research products include all the materials required to sell, execute, and deliver a project. Coordinating and executing projects is a large requirement for the role.
The analyst will work diligently to learn and then demonstrate the technical skills and knowledge of various research techniques, statistical methods, charting abilities, and project coordination. In addition to growing their fundamental skill set as a researcher through working on projects, Dig offers a variety of ongoing training opportunities to build everyone’s skill sets. Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Assist with the creation of new research products:
- Manipulate respondent level data.
- Pull data into report / chart data.
- Program basic surveys & test survey links.
- Review and analyze survey results.
- Review, read, and create cross tables.
- Coordinate translation requests and delivery.
- Create reports and template reports.
- Write/update basic survey questionnaires.
- Gather necessary inputs for the project (stimuli, concepts, etc.).
Assist with the maintenance of research product materials:
- Update templated proposals, questionnaires, and reports to align with advances in analytics and technology.
Assist in supporting the Consulting team:
- Develop and deliver training materials to support research products.
- Actively research and test methods for improving the efficiency of processes relating to research projects.
- Provide support for Consulting teams when they are using research products.
Experience, Skills, and Requirements:
- Proficiency in SPSS and/or Q is an asset.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines, while maintaining close attention to detail.
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in a relevant field (Market Research, Business, Marketing, or other related fields).
- Demonstrated work ethic, integrity, and professional conduct.
- Excellent skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office Suite are required.
- Ability to thrive within a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and oral are required.
- 1-3 years of experience as an Analyst in an Insights role is an asset.
- Questionnaire writing and survey programming are a big bonus.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
