Position Summary

As part of the central Business Intelligence & Insights team- within the Central Finance Organization- the Sr. BI Analyst will work on the end-to-end development of high-impact BI projects for the North America Zone. You’ll be part of high-performing agile team working at the intersection of Data- Business- & Design – engaging with many different parts of the business and leveraging a modern tech stack. We are looking for a self-starter who will work alongside BI Managers- data engineers- and business stakeholders- to deliver best-in-class BI solutions. The Sr. Analyst will have high visibility and be hands-on at each step of the BI product development lifecycle identifying the opportunities/root causes of business problems- gathering requirements from stakeholders- translating those requirements to the data engineers- and designing and delivering high-impact- high-value- analytical tools- and data visualizations. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver by nature- with a strong combination of business acumen- technical and design skills- with a passion for continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with Data Engineers to develop efficient data models with high integrity.
• Effectively communicating with team members and management (up to Sr. Levels)
• Using analytical and statistical rigor to answer ad-hoc business questions and drive business decisions.
• Working with broader BI team to develop strategies to improve overall department effectiveness and efficiency; drive improved data quality and consistency across all data solutions.
• End-to-end delivery of BI projects scoping- planning- developing and delivering Tableau dashboards- managing enhancement requests.
• Partnering with BI Manager and cross-functional stakeholders on the design- development- and maintenance of scalable solutions for ongoing metrics- reports- analyses- dashboards- etc. to support analytical and business needs.
• Evaluating business processes- anticipating requirements- uncovering areas for improvement- and developing and implementing solutions.
• Owning and maintaining priority-1 models and dashboards monitoring usage- surveying end-users on satisfaction- making required enhancements.
• Collaborating with business end-users to validate and test solutions and create documentation.
• Managing timelines- competing resources- and prioritization.

Qualifications

• Highly Proficient with SQL- Tableau- Tableau Prep- Excel
• Ability to influence cross-functional team members
• BS in math- finance- engineering- statistics- business or related discipline is required
• Team player who manages collaboratively with the ability to influence management- in some cases without authority
• Strong Technical and Systems orientation
• Strong business acumen- interpersonal- communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent Data Visualization skills (Tableau Preferred)
• Strong verbal/written communication & data presentation skills- including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
• 2+ years in Business Intelligence / Data Analytics / Management Consulting
• Motivated self-starter who can effectively work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Proven analytical and quantitative skills and ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.
• Ability to self-direct- multitask- and prioritize a constantly evolving workload

Preferred Qualifications

• CPG Industry Experience
• Experience with statistical/data modelling with R or Python
• MBA or master’s degree in a quantitative field
• Experience with Snowflake- SAP HANA- Azure
• Consulting experience
