Procor is adding to our Fleet Department. This position is located in Oakville Ontario, Canada.

This role will include many aspects of maintenance administration duties central to Procor Leasing Business Unit’s fleet operations such as repair estimate review and approval, return disposition determination, final invoice processing, and general project management for the Procor railcar fleet. This position will report to the Manager, Fleet Maintenance and Administration.

Key Accountabilities:

• General Stakeholder and Affiliate Reporting - Provide weekly/monthly/annual Fleet operation reports as required to Other Business Units and Union Tank Car.
• Vendor/Supplier Performance Management – Play a key role in defining, developing, managing, and sustaining superior supplier performance and accountability for the Leasing Business Unit
• Railcar Storage Administration – Track cars in storage, accrue monthly charges and submit invoicing for payment once verified accurate.
• Engineering updates – Work with Corporate engineering to ensure all proper forms are completed and gathered from shops relative to Car planned Services. Coordination of any North American database fields and CPS's as required.
• Repair Estimate and Invoice processing - Receive the initial fleet repair estimates, review for accuracy and relevance, Approve and/or process for approval based upon authority limits.
• Other related duties as required.
• Scrap / Dismantle Administration - Provide dismantle approval on cars deemed uneconomical to repair, move cars efficiently through our scrap network, invoice for proceeds and track to completion.

Qualifications And Experience

• University degree or College diploma.
• Background in mechanical repair operations would be preferred.
• Plus other related duties as required
• Ability to work well with people and develop/sustain good relationships with customers, suppliers, and co- workers.
• Excellent time-management skills, ability to prioritize and manage workload.
• Previous experience working in, or as a supplier to, the railway industry is an asset.
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
