Job Description

Regional Fleet Supervisor


The Commercial Fleet Supervisor is responsible for prospecting and securing financially sound fleet deals on a national and regional level and achieve corporate targets while staying within budgetary limits, successfully manage relationships with all fleet partners, and develop sales strategies and business plans to meet revenue targets.


Responsibilities

  • Reporting as needed on monthly and as-needed basis.
  • Create and manage successful relationships with all stakeholders internally, large customers, and fleet management companies.
  • Identify operational improvements and implementation of changes once approved.
  • Support all Fleet Management Companies, Government entities and all other Commercial customers on complete client experience including special incentive offers.
  • Provide training to dealers on delivery processes and available fleet programs.
  • Significant responsibility in month end activities and shared oversight of Fleet Specialist
  • Responsible for responding to and managing all Regional Fleet RFP’s
  • Oversight of distribution for Regional Fleet vehicles inbound/outbound.
  • Organize and participate in fleet-related promotional events.
  • Maintain a quote/sales log form the start of the sales cycle to the completion.
  • Participation in department Marketing initiatives through 3rd party vendor.
  • Plan and implement procedures for efficient fleet account approvals.
  • Develop and implement sales strategy to ensure attainment of corporate wholesale objectives for Regional Fleet by channel including developing new business.


Skills / Knowledge / Experience / Education Required

  • Ability to take initiative and own Regional Fleet with drive to hit monthly targets.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of fleet industry, their practices and processes.
  • SAP and Monday.com experience an asset.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in automotive with emphasis on fleet management.
  • Strong people management skills.
  • Bachelor degree in Business or related field.
  • Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time.
  • Proven ability to negotiate effectively, establish and maintain effective relationships.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently as required.
  • Energetic, positive attitude, goal-oriented, able to manage stress, multi task ability.
  • Sound sales experience from prospecting to closing.
  • Bilingualism is preferred.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal).
