Financial Data Analyst Jobs

Reporting to the Global Human Resources Manager, our client is looking for a strong Financial & Data Analyst to join and support the global corporate initiatives led by the HR team and provide the required analytics and reports in an effort to enhance tracking and reporting capabilities for HR end-users.

**3 days a week onsite in downtown Ottawa, 2 days remote from home.

***$80k - $100k range depending on experience

****Selected candidate will have to obtain a security clearance so a min. of 5 years in the Country is required.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Advanced Excel skills using complex formulas (testing is part of the interview process)
• University Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance)
• A minimum of 5 solid years of analysis experience.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in the preparation of the corporate compensation budget: consolidate data from various sources, prepare the Finance submission, reconcile compensation and headcount data
• Collect and analyze data, prepare various monthly reports, and conduct monthly analyses for the Finance team Develop a variety of customized reports, data extracts, and statistical analysis of workforce data and prepare comprehensive summaries for HR Management and Company Leadership; interpret data, identify alternatives, reconcile against the approved HC budget and make/justify recommendations.
• Compile supporting data, statistics, and conduct ad-hoc analyses related to benefits administration, payroll, and compensation.
• Analytical experience, facility working with numbers, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with HRIS systems would be an asset
