Financial Consultant

Reports To: The Financial Consultant will report to the Managing Partner.

Target Salary: $95,000

Job Overview:

The Financial Consultant specializes in one or more of the following areas:

• Taxation
• Operations: creating, running and growing new businesses
• Finance
• Financial Reporting (Internal and External)

Deliverable for clients:

• Identifying business opportunities
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Cash flow management
• Restructuring services
• Technical accounting services
• Capacity building client personnel
• Raising capital
• Investment management
• Project management services
• Full cycle accounting
• Tax compliance, planning and advisory services
• Developing business plans
• Assist with external audit(s)

Responsibilities and duties:

Provide advisory services for HLL client(s) by executing financial/management deliverables for client(s) and their stakeholders (internal and external). The sectors and industries that HLL supports are as follows:

• Construction
• Telecommunications
• Government
• Real Estate/ Property Management
• Healthcare
• Pharmacy
• Retail
• Mining/exploration
• Education
• Hospitality (Restaurants, Hotels and Lodges)

Qualifications:

• Experience working in a culturally sensitive environment
• Must reside in Manitoba and be eligible to work in Canada
• Must be comfortable working alongside a team of 10+ CPA's
• Public practice experience is required
• Must be a CPA
• Open to travel for day trips
