Financial Analyst – Hybrid

Position Overview:

Lambert Nemec Group, Winnipeg's leader in Permanent Recruitment, has partnered with our client in the search for a designated Financial Analyst. The Financial Analyst is a key member of the finance team. The Financial Analyst plays an integral role in month-end, quarter-end, year-end, and ad hoc reporting for various users of financial information.

Responsibilities:

• Perform variance analysis of monthly income statement as it relates to assigned functional areas.
• Analyze financial data and create reports.
• Maintain financial data for corporate reporting.
• Prepare working papers and related reports on a monthly, quarterly, yearly basis for various users of financial information (Executive Leadership and Audit Committee). Includes ad hoc analysis, creating and maintaining supporting schedules, period reporting and audit preparation.
• Budget and cost analysis

Requirements:

• The Financial Analyst will possess a recognized Canadian accounting designation, CPA (CA, CGA CMA) and would ideally have some industry exposure in analytical roles.
• Experience in analyzing and detailed reporting of financial and statistical data
• A minimum of 3 years accounting and or finance experience.
