Financial Analyst - Hybrid

The Financial Analyst is a developing professional role. Applies specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating processes and data. Identifies policy gaps and formulates policies. Interprets data and makes recommendations. Researches and interprets factual information. Identifies inconsistencies in data or results, defines business issues and formulates recommendations on policies, procedures or practices. Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices. Develops working knowledge of industry practices and standards. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided.

Responsibilities:

• Validate and ensure data integrity across a broad spectrum of reports and analysis
• Provide end to end support for project management. Driving a project through from needs analysis to delivery
• Primary responsibility for the reporting and management of data across markets Technology business offices - Data collection & evaluation
• Liaise with CoS partners throughout Markets Technology to ensure several financial details and asks are effectively communicated and addressed
• Project Management support of business risk and control oversight and other large global strategic initiatives
• Design and provide day-to-day support to management in the form of ad hoc analysis as needed
• Provide data, presentations and independent analysis for senior management and business heads.
• Support the group in producing presentations for management, financial reporting and assisting in other special projects.
• Produce senior management reports and ad-hoc data analysis
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• Effective quantitative and analytical skills
• 0-2 years prior experience in financial services and knowledge of banking products and concepts is a plus but not essential.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build long term profess
• Experience producing data analysis with a high level of accuracy
• Ability to work well in a fast paced environment

Education:

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
