Position Title: Esports Social Media Assistant

Position Summary
This position provides excellence in front line social media and communications support to the Humber Esports team. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Building online community among players
- Providing customer service support
- Supporting the online promotion of Humber Esports
- Raising internal and external awareness of the team
- Fostering College pride in the team
- Responds to email enquiries and directs social media messages, exercising good judgment in obtaining pertinent information, and screens and directs messages as appropriate.
- Drafts and executes communications plans for Humber Esports’ Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube accounts.
- Writes social media and web copy, curates content, and develops social media assets, including graphics, as per the guidelines of each platform and the College brand guidelines and policies.
- Liaises with esports influencers, Humber Esports event production personnel, and team members to co-ordinate content creation workflow and to confirm event details (e.g. dates, times, participants).
- Publishes planned content to social media channels as scheduled .
