Position Purpose
The Employee Journey Lead champions in the lifecycle of all employees within the Brambles Digital (BD) function , from onboarding, career development and growth through to ‘offboarding’ to future roles and opportunities. The focus of the role will be developing and facilitating a world-class employee journey experience, They will partner, coach and guide Brambles Digital people leaders in exceeding our EVP, helping to make Brambles an employer of choice for data and analytics professionals and those who have an aspiration to build a career in digital and data.

Major/Key Accountabilities
Career Offering & Engagement
- Ensure that every member of BD has an active plan to support their career aspirations, development, social impact and purpose interest areas; owned by the employee and supported by their line manager.
- Serve as a “distant early warning” to head off unnecessary resignations due to eminently fixable situations, conditions, obstacles and variables related to employees’ work.
- Work with HR and D&A leads in designing, implementing and maintaining BD team members’ career development and progress, supporting the execution of our EVP.
- Support the engagement and promotion of communities of practice, alongside D&A Leads.
- Lead the Pulse engagement survey process for BD (in partnership with HR team), ensuring ownership of actions by D&A leads to deliver engagement action plans.
- Coach and guide Line Mangers within BD to ensure they support their team members as above.
- Review exit survey/interview data to identify concerns and themes identified, partnering with HR and D&A leads to address these.
- Support with delivery of team development activities e.g. Insights.
- Lead the planning and execution of the Talent Management Review (TMR) process within BD, partnering with HR and D&A Leads on outputs to build engagement and career development for BD employees.
Onboarding
- Act as first point of escalation for any non-routine issues that require resolving.
- Conduct HR ‘welcome’ interviews as required.
- Support and partner with the Onboarding and Employee Journey Coordinator in the execution of their responsibilities, as outlined in their job description.
- Identify, propose and design solutions that will simplify, streamline and/or improve impact and effectiveness of onboarding activities in collaboration with the OB & EJ Coordinator, ensuring these align with the wider Brambles’ Onboarding approach and BD employee journey.

- Ensure that all new and existing employees understand the behaviours required and leaders role model and reinforce those behaviours.

- Identify and implement tools and ceremonies that reinforce the data-driven culture, that become part of the day-to-day business.

Qualifications
Essential
Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration or other related field.
Desirable
Agile or Change Management Certification.
Project Management certification or equivalent.
Behavioural Coaching certification or equivalent.
Experience
Essential
- Relevant experience in running and creating onboarding / development programmes.
- Relevant experience in HR, TA or L&D role, building and maintaining strong relationships across a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Experience of working on a change program in a global organization.
Desirable
- Experience of delivering remote and in-person learning solutions.
- Experience or practice in purpose-driven and/or social responsibility work.
