Full-Time Permanent Position
Service Plus Aquatics Inc. is a rapidly-expanding, progressive corporation, devoted to providing exceptional service to the commercial recreational aquatic industry. Established in 1989, we are known for our leadership in design/build services, restoration and repair, and facility management, specializing in LEED design. Dedication, on-going training and a truly dynamic TEAM, combine to make this company an industry leader. We are currently looking to add to our existing Team, by filling the position of Warehouse/Delivery Coordinator.

In this role, you will be expected to support the following as required
The Projects Warehouse & Deliveries Coordinator will report to the Projects Department Manager.
  • Maintenance of “job specific” inventory, shipping and receiving system and records for billings.
  • Office/Facility general maintenance as per daily, weekly and monthly schedule
  • Regular inventory counts where assigned.
  • Fleet coordination with Internal Operations Coordinator
  • Coordinate with Purchase, Accounting, Project Leaders, CRC and Internal Operations
  • 60% deliveries / 40% receiving, admin. & project tasks (this will vary depending on season and company work/project)
  • Other projects as assigned by Department Manager, Scheduler or/and the President & CEO
  • Maintenance of inventory, shipping and receiving systems
  • Shipping, receiving, organizing the warehouse (both in house and off-site storage facilities), tools & product inventory
Position Summary
  • Facility maintenance of sites and office/warehouse
  • Delivery and pick up of products/materials
  • May be requested to be an “active” member of the Joint Health & Safety Committee
  • Workday commences at 6:30 A.M. (or otherwise communicated by Manager)
  • Daily meetings with the Project Administration staff is a mandatory requirement
  • Daily deliveries are to be followed by organization of the warehouse, and ensuring that receiving is completed by end of day
  • 40 to 44 hour work week, however, during the busy summer season, hours are typically 50+ weekly
  • Overtime hours to be pre-authorized/pre-approved by Manager, in writing
  • Daily duties will be communicated with next day targets to be met each evening.
Projects
  • Build project skids as required and coordinate storage skids or off site locations or delivery to sites as applicable.
  • Repackage items, click pictures, place them on skids, wrap up skids for storage in containers, store in containers and click pictures of the finished skids.
  • Allocate skids to different projects and sites, update on sage and finish documentation.
  • Other tasks as per directions of department manager such as miscellaneous metal cutting, starter/CO2 kit assemblies, valve tag and estop kit assemblies, etc.
  • Receive items delivered to SPA.
  • Pre-pick deliveries per Work/Delivery orders
  • Prepare and deliver material dispatch packages for sites
  • Open and quality check items.
  • Organize and maintain the warehouse
  • Coordinate tool pickups and drop offs to sites
  • Barcode and scan items into inventory and provide documents to projects administrator for billing.
Operations
  • Maintain order/organization/tidiness of the supply room (stocking shelves with product, removing empty boxes, and ensuring the floor is cleared of debris)
  • Monthly fire extinguisher checks
  • Empty Kitchen garbage on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and as required
  • Do weekly stocks check of items
  • Yard mgmt. of goods as applicable
  • Maintain system for equipment control and maintenance
  • Receive and store: uniforms, PPE, garbage bags and bathroom supplies
  • Miscellaneous landscaping and maintenance of facility as applicable
  • Organize & maintain a safe and tidy warehouse and office
  • Keep bathrooms and kitchen stocked with essentials
  • Maintain SDS lists both in back and in outdoor box.
  • Prepare safety bags for new hires, upon the request of the Internal Operations Coordinator
  • Miscellaneous office repairs and maintenance (filter replacements, light bulbs, doors, fuses, etc.)
  • Vehicle clean outs and maintenance as applicable
  • Snow clearing and salting
Accounting
  • Scanning items to inventory in Sage once received as per projects, removing items from inventory and update in Sage once items are delivered to site, as required
Preventive Maintenance (back-up to Service & Maintenance Warehouse & Deliveries Coordinator):
  • Receiving materials and chemicals delivered.
  • Maintain system for first aid supplies purchased.
  • Pre-pick deliveries per Work/Delivery orders
  • Open packages, quality check items, click pictures and document items.
  • Installation & calibration of CO2 tanks
  • Delivery / pick-up products – a minimum of six (6) deliveries per day is average
  • Daily pick up of chlorine jugs from site.
  • Decanter chemicals, label, store and update on sage.
  • Chemical dispensing
  • Fill chlorine jugs as per dispatches and requirements.
Required Competencies
  • Forklift certification – Raymond Reach truck
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
  • Exceptional organizational and coordination skills, and attention to detail
  • A team player, who can also work efficiently independently
  • Flexible and adaptable, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Bondable
  • Must have a Valid G or DZ driver’s license & clean driver’s abstract
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience in warehouse management/coordination required
