Job Title: B2B Director of Sales
Location: Toronto, Canada
Industry: Advertising, Marketing, Printed Materials, Online Digital Space
Our client is the established leader in their industry for marketing and advertising online and printed materials. We are looking for an experienced B2B Sales Manager to provide leadership and support to an established team of business development, sales and customer support professionals.
The ideal candidate has deep experience with the entire sales process, excelling at lead generation, relationship building, and deal closing. We’re looking for a quick learner who has strong negotiating skills — someone with a successful track record preferably within a B2B environment, who can inspire the same performance in others. The role demands a leader who has a sharp mind and an ability to coach, advise, motivate, or discipline sales and customer service representatives, when necessary, while building and maintaining a high-performance team, both inhouse and remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and support to an established team of sales and customer support professionals.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure that sales goals are met.
- Develop and implement sales strategies that drive growth in the B2B market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Qualifications:
- Proven record of success with the entire sales process, from planning to closing, running great sales meetings, hiring and training.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Experience in business development, advertising, marketing, networking, and the digital space.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to motivate, direct and monitor off-premises team members.
- Ability to develop predictive sales forecasts, commission structures and mitigate any discrepancies that may occur from time to time.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team understanding the complexities of diverse relationships.
- Superb leadership ability
- Five or more years of experience in managing sales in a corporate B2B setting.
Compensation and Rewards:
The successful candidate shall enjoy an executive income comprised of salary and quarterly bonuses and benefits, with the potential for long-term equity/ownership.
