Natural Forces Solar is a dynamic engineering, procurement, construction, and maintenance company in the renewable energy sector. Based in Dartmouth, NS, Natural Forces Solar provides innovative, robust, and cost-effective renewable energy systems to clients across Canada.
Reporting to the President, the Director of Business Development will play a pivotal role in driving growth by identifying new business opportunities and creating sustainable long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders. Your Mission:
- Create opportunities with new clients by building relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target organizations.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets, driving sustainable business growth.
- Lead negotiations with potential clients that effectively address their needs and showcase our value proposition to secure new deals and partnerships.
- Monitor sales performance and develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of business development initiatives.
- Analyze market data, competitor strategies, and industry dynamics to identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums to enhance the company’s visibility and reputation.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and partners to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and maximum revenue opportunities.
Your Profile:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that allow you to effectively negotiate and articulate complex ideas.
- Passion for renewable energy and dedicated to mitigating climate change
- Proven track record of successfully developing and executing business development strategies that drive revenue growth.
- Process-driven attitude to effectively prioritize opportunities and adapt to changing market conditions in a dynamic business environment.
- Relationship building mindset and ability to foster long term connections with current clients and prospective clients
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting market data and industry trends to drive strategic decisions.
