Job Title: Digital Business Analyst—Customer Experience Platform
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Location: Hybrid / Toronto (2-3 days on-site per week)
Our Toronto-based client, consistently ranked as one of Canada’s top employers, is searching for a Digital Business Analyst with CMS/DXP experience to join their team on a full-time contract basis.
Your new role:
This role is very focused on customer experience, and you will work in collaboration with the business to translate functional business needs into requirements to create a flexible and integrated digital experience platform. As a business enabler and service provider, you will assist in the identification of effective business solutions to meet the business goals of the organization and recommend business process re-designs that maximize efficiencies and align with operational goals for the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with IT and other business units to validate the business requirements as well as current state processes
- Gather and document detail business/technical requirements using structured techniques and methodologies
- Create and present functional and/or technical designs including data analysis to business and/or technical teams, and gather feedback to influence solution design and approach
- Facilitate review sessions with functional owners and end-user representatives
- Document Business Requirements & Create Process Maps
- Work with technical and non-technical teams to document current and future states of business processes, analyze gaps, identify risks and opportunities
- Prepare process maps using MS Visio and MS PowerPoint
Requirements:
- Understanding of AODA standards is required
- Previous hands-on experience with CMS (Liferay or other Content Management platforms), Web and DXP (digital experience platform)
- Proficient in creating process documentation, conducting gap analysis, and skilled in requirement gathering, workshop facilitation, and written documentation including training materials;
- Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience with digital experiences across multi-experience customer journeys;
- Familiar with customer experience and general UI/UX concept
- 5+ years of Business Analysis experience working on customer experience projects in both Waterfall and Agile environments;
- Must have experience in creating test cases and conducting UAT/SIT
