CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST

As the Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the estimating and measuring of all projects, as well as customer service duties with a smaller focus on IT support. This position represents the front line of our business. General responsibilities include but are not limited to:

·Prepare customer quotes in Floorzap, working in tandem with the sales team for details.

·Schedule measures.

·Order materials as per quotation and follow up for expected delivery, communicating any changes to the customer and the IF team regarding unexpected delays.

·Copy Warehouse on approved estimates.

·Act as the secondary layer of customer service for more complex issues.

·Operate as the post-installation liaison for all shortages, damages, and deficiencies.

·Prepare work orders for installers, schedule, and follow up to completion.

·Work with other Image Flooring team members to ensure customer needs are appropriately managed.

·Administrate claims for damages and tracks to completion.

·Provide IT support as required.

·Cover other employees’ holidays and time off.

This role requires someone who can coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high levels of customer service. Every day there will be different projects and/or tasks that require someone who can pivot easily. You will need to act as a customer advocate with a focus on improving the buyer experience and making our customers successful. The Customer Service Specialist will resolve complaints and prevent additional issues by improving processes, ensuring ultimate Client satisfaction through industry-leading customer service.

You will report directly to the owner at H-844 McLeod Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Your working summer hours are from 8 am to 4:30 pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Wednesday from 9 am to 5 pm with a half-hour for lunch.Once fall hours resume, you may be scheduled to support some Thursday evenings and Saturdays.

The starting salary for this position is $21.00 per hour [$40,950.00 annually]. Payment is on a bi-weekly basis by direct deposit. In addition, you will be eligible to receive 1 week of paid holidays in 2023 and 2 weeks beginning in January 2024. Scheduled holidays must never overlap with other staff being off.We will also make provision for three (3) sick days per twelve (12) month period.

Your employment with Image Flooring Inc. will be on an at-will basis, which means you and the company are free to terminate employment at any time, with or without cause with two weeks’ notice.
