Customer Care Specialist - High Rise Development (North York)
Harbinger Network has partnered with an established residential builder located in Toronto in search of a Customer Care Manager to join their team. Previous experience in High Rise Residential Construction is required, along with experience carrying out pre-delivery inspections, handling customer inquiries, coordinating with the construction department for fixes and a strong knowledge of Tarion.
Responsibilities
- Hold the construction team accountable for deadlines and the recognition of QA and PDI deficiencies
- Investigate purchasers’ concerns once escalated and resolve warranty-related matters swiftly (Tarion Warranty for New Homes)
- Ensure deficiencies are uploaded to NewStar
- Complete regular home inspections during the construction process, Frame Walk Inspections, Quality Assurance Inspections (pre-PDI), and Pre-Delivery Inspections for your respective community
- Build a strong relationship with our customers, advocate for their interests, and ensure homes are delivered defect-free
- Implement the customer care processes and standardization on-site
- Tech audits
- Prepare monthly reporting for the Leadership Team detailing on-site progress, homeowner sentiment, improvements we can make to our product/processes/trades/site practices to deliver an excellent product and service for our customers
- Take accountability for customer satisfaction (as per homeowner feedback and Avid Survey data)
Requirements
- Customer service focused with the ability to resolve problems effectively
- Strong knowledge of Tarion
- Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and manage variable workloads
- 5+ years of customer service experience from a High Rise Residential Development environment
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
- Fast-paced work environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
