About Our Client
Our client is an established GC, dedicated to renovating and constructing high end restaurant builds for clients across Canada. Due to current growth, the organization is looking to secure an experienced Project Manager to join their team.
As Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to oversee a challenging and high profile restaurant build in the Downtown Toronto Core.

The ideal candidate will be responsible to manage a high end restaurant construction project:

• Work closely with estimating and site supervision to ensure accuracy of budgets, schedules, and project execution
• Negotiate trade contracts
• All other duties as required
• Lead site meetings for projects within your management responsibility
• Monitor costs and time lines for projects to ensure successful completion
• Work closely with project owners and internal leadership on a day to day basis

The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• 10 years of experience working in a construction project management capacity with local market GC's
• Ability to establish and adhere to construction schedules
• Strong network of relevant local market trades
• Direct experience overseeing full cycle restaurant project construction, consisting of fit outs, renovations, additions and ground up new builds; excellent knowledge of high end finishes and M&E is required
• GSC, relevant education in engineering or construction management are assets
• Strong leadership, management and software application abilities

Salary will be commensurate with experience. This is a one year contract opportunity with opportunity for extension or conversion to permanent employment.
