We strive to create spaces that reflect the way people want to live and work today, while evolving for tomorrow.Due to growth, we are currently seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to join our TGA General Contracting and Restoration Ltd. team and work under the direction of the Vice President, Construction. The key responsibilities of the Construction Project Coordinator include but are not limited to:Key Responsibilities: Assist the Project Management Team with oversight of construction projectsReview proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and contents of estimatePrepare tender documents and plans for tenderingAct as liaison with subcontractors, consultants, and the Project Management Team in expediting drawing reviews, RFIsPrepare cost estimates on conceptual, design-build or general tender work including basic analysisPerform preliminary and detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and specificationsPrepare drawings and markups to support construction work as requiredEnsure that the Site Superintendents are supplied with all up to date drawings, schedules, and specificationsMonitor on-site work to ensure compliance with contract scope of work, company standards, specifications, and codesAttend all regular project review meetingsAssist with ordering construction materialsPrepare and maintain site logs and recordsCoordinate submittals and transmittals and ensure all close-out documents including warranties are providedContribute to a positive working relationship with all stakeholdersPerform additional work and responsibilities as assumed or requested by the Project Management TeamRequired Knowledge and Experience: A degree or technical diploma in Construction, Engineering, or Architecture is preferred, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in your fieldAbility to understand architectural and engineering drawings and specificationsStrong time-management, organization, and attention to detailThe ability to multi-task between on-site and in office administrative workAbility to work independently and in a team environmentExcellent written and verbal communicationProficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, Bluebeam, ProcoreKnowledge of CCDC contract documentsTGA Group encourages applications from all qualified individuals.
