CNIB invites you to build a career as unique as you! We are currently searching for a Coordinator, Canine Nutrition & Health Partners! Reporting to the Director, Operations & Business Development, CNIB Guide Dogs, the Coordinator, Canine Nutrition & Health Partners will be responsible for all accounts payable administrative functions in our current accounting system for the CNIB Guide Dogs Program. This includes auditing both expense and invoices, following up internally with the business for review and approval and working with Vendors to ensure accounts are in good standing. Communicates directly with Vendors, Handlers, and Partners to ensure positive working relationships and queries are addressed and resolved in a timely fashion.
Your impact at CNIB
  • Research and resolve a variety of routine internal and external inquiries concerning invoice discrepancies, account status, and provide appropriate and timely resolutions.
  • Receive and review all CNIB Guide Dogs invoices/payables documents for accuracy via Concur, ensuring appropriate documentation: where applicable, all invoices are matched to purchase orders and are approved in accordance with corporate policies.
  • Processing of Direct withdrawals in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that payments are appropriately scheduled to take advantage of credit terms, always being issued in compliance with terms.
  • Reviewing invoices posted into NetSuite via the connector to ensure that all invoices are correctly posted with the correct taxes.
  • Creating accounts with veterinary and food Vendors, managing ordering and billing for the CNIB Guide Dogs program.
  • Prepare payment runs and wires on a weekly basis, ensuring that all payment packages are correctly prepared and supported by approvals and documented coding.
  • Managing accounts in Salesforce and ensuring the vendor database is kept up to date.
Requirements
Who you are:
  • Is dedicated to exceeding the expectations of all internal and external customers.
  • Must be detail-oriented, well-organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Self-driven and results-oriented with the ability to work independently while exercising effective judgment, sensitivity, creativity to changing needs and situations.
We want to hear from you if you have:
  • Experience with month-end financial reconciliations, analysis, and closing processes are a plus.
  • Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or business administration, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years’ experience in accounts payable in a multi-entity corporation
  • Experience in NetSuite and Concur is a plus.
  • Previous experience with ERP software; tech savvy to learn new software.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office, with advanced Excel knowledge (formulas, pivot tables, v-look ups, etc.).
  • 3+ years’ general accounting knowledge/experience maintaining general ledger.
