About Our Client
Our client is well established within their community. They are well known for providing the best quality and service for their buyers.

• Provide leadership, training, and direction for the A/P process and ensures the timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, expense reports and other cash disbursements.
• Coach, mentor and develop the Accounting team on best practices to drive efficiency and improvement.
• Ensures month-end balance sheet reconciliations and analysis are prepared in a timely manner and provides the necessary internal controls for both Management and External Audit purposes.
• Lead the development and update of all process documentation including Month-end, AR, AP, Inventory Valuation Adjustment and FX translation.
• Supervise and approves weekly cheque/EFT run.
• Provide leadership, training, and direction for the A/R process and ensures timely invoicing and collection of outstanding receivables.
• Manage bank balances daily.

The Successful Applicant

• Experience in CPG / Manufacturing environment required
• CPA/CA designation required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
• Minimum of 10 years progressive experience in General Accounting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong leadership skills
