  • Provide feedback and input for continual improvement of our products and processes

Requirements:

To be an excellent match, you should have previous experience in condition monitoring of rotating equipment. A vibration analysis certificate is considered an advantage. You also can work with condition monitoring software and know your customers' processes.

Importantly, you should have the ability apply your mechanical and electrical engineering background to learn new skills. You have system software configuration skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and aid others when evaluating field hardware.

In this role, the following requirements are important for success:

  • Strong motivation to grow the Condition Monitoring business
  • Some experience with presentation and negotiation skills
  • The ability to travel up to 60% of the time within North America with the occasional trip overseas
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Fluency in English is required, and fluency in French or Spanish will be considered a plus
  • Degree in Electrical or Mechanical discipline
  • Knowledge of Valmet customer industries; pulp, paper and energy
  • Please note that this role may be located anywhere within Canada or the United States and is a remote position when not at a customer site
  • Strong customer orientation
