Survey Assistant - Are you the perfect fit?
Join OTG as a Survey Assistant and take on an exciting role that combines technical expertise with creativity. You'll play a crucial part in ensuring the accurate implementation of design by reviewing field data files and utilizing software like Autocad Civil 3D to calculate cross sections and profiles. Additionally, you'll be responsible for performing advanced drafting tasks and developing visually appealing graphic presentations. With the opportunity to monitor construction progress using drones and provide support for various engineering activities, this position offers a dynamic and fulfilling experience. Type of Position: Permanent, full-time
What You’ll Do

• Support the Monitoring Surveyor team in collecting and analyzing field data related to construction projects.
• Collaborate with the Monitoring Surveyor team to document and report findings and observations.
• Assist with the installation and maintenance of monitoring equipment to ensure accurate data collection.
• Work closely with project managers and engineers to provide accurate and timely updates on monitoring activities.
• Assist in the coordination and communication of monitoring activities with various stakeholders.
• Monitor the quality of the work being delivered by the contractor and their appointed sub-contractors.
• Follow established safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications
What it takes to make it

• Ability to use AutoCAD (Civil 3D) for roadway design and MS Office.
• Organized and able to perform multiple tasks while demonstrating significant attention to detail
• Must have good command of the English language.
• Experience of progressive responsibility in similar position or equivalent combination of education and work experience will be preferable.
• Ability to work flexible shifts
• Knowledge of survey methods.
• Ability to learn new software.
• Must be a team player
