Survey Assistant - Are you the perfect fit?
Join OTG as a Survey Assistant and take on an exciting role that combines technical expertise with creativity. You'll play a crucial part in ensuring the accurate implementation of design by reviewing field data files and utilizing software like Autocad Civil 3D to calculate cross sections and profiles. Additionally, you'll be responsible for performing advanced drafting tasks and developing visually appealing graphic presentations. With the opportunity to monitor construction progress using drones and provide support for various engineering activities, this position offers a dynamic and fulfilling experience. Type of Position: Permanent, full-time
What You’ll Do

• Review field data files provided by Survey team to ensure the correct application of the design.
• Construction progress monitoring using drone
• Perform advanced and specialized drafting (2D and 3D) to support design and construction activities.
• Provides support for other engineering activities as required.
• Calculate cross sections and profiles with Autocad Civil 3D and other Roadway design software
• Develop graphic presentations that include design features.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
• Quantities calculation from monthly field surveys

Qualifications
What it takes to make it

• Ability to use AutoCAD (Civil 3D) for roadway design and MS Office.
• Experience of progressive responsibility in similar position or equivalent combination of education and work experience will be preferable.
• Must have good command of the English language.
• Must be a team player
• Ability to learn new software.
• Organized and able to perform multiple tasks while demonstrating significant attention to detail
• Knowledge of survey methods.
