Room Condition Inspector Jobs

Communicate results and provide feedback on inspections to management.

Import data to tabulate results and highlight deviances to standards and process capabilities in Excel.

Basic understanding of Coordinate Measuring methods, and knowledge of hand use measuring equipment.

Use of Microsoft Office, with basic working knowledge of Excel.

Working knowledge of measurement instruments, i.e. calipers, micrometers.

Use of CMM or Vision system inspection experience is desired.

Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines and constantly shifting priorities; and

Experience delivering services to employers, insurers and WSIB clients; and

Continuing education and professional development.

Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in assessment and treatment with a primarily orthopedic caseload in an outpatient setting;

Extensive experience with third party insurers (e.g., WSIB, MVA) and potentially some experience with long-term disability clients;

Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written communication skills for preparation of reports (e.g., collaborative assessment reports);

Works with Mailroom Manager to fulfil and send out large orders

Identifies low stocked items and works with Mailroom Manager to replenish stock using existing warehouse inventory

Works with Mailroom Manager to ensure sufficient stock of collateral is held at the warehouse and supplies sent over when required

Strong organizational + multi-tasking skills

English language skills (verbal + written)

works with Mailroom Manager to fulfil and send out large orders

Well-developed skills in prioritizing, organization, decision-making, time management, and verbal/written communication skills.

Minimum 5 years of proven experience in the construction and/or residential building sector.

Experience working with Indigenous peoples; direct experience working within an Indigenous environment is a definite asset.

Strong interpersonal skills and a positive work ethic. Ability to provide efficient, reliable, and courteous service to customers.

Advanced computer skills. Ability to write reports, input and maintain accurate data and use Microsoft Office Suite Products.

Assist Project Manager(s) with Building Condition Assessments (BCAs) on a diverse range of new and existing buildings across several market sectors.

2+ years of experience in building sciences, engineering or architecture, focusing on Building Condition Assessments or Reserve Fund Study planning;

Mechanical / Electrical Inspection experience is an asset;

An excellent communicator, with strong verbal, written and presentation skills in the English language;

In-depth knowledge of building materials and constructions processes for construction and/or repairs building envelopes;

Contribute to the preparation of thorough, accurate and concise reports, including detailed cost estimates based on real-world data.

Exposure to practical project management fundamentals

3+ years’ professional experience in a relevant field

Willingness to obtain a professional certification related to buildings, building systems, or engineering

Excellent computer skills, familiar with navigating software systems, and an expert user of Microsoft Office

Exceptional communication and leadership skills. An ability to work productively within multi-disciplinary teams

Bachelor’s degree closely related to the built environment, preferably in engineering or architecture
