Job Description
Calling all Commercial Account Managers to join one of Ontario’s largest independently owned brokerages, in Vaughan, ON.

If you’re an organized, effective communicator with at least a few years of experience in a commercial lines department at an insurance company or brokerage, and you’re ready to take the next step in your career, then keep reading.


This is a role for a collaborative problem-solver who can guide our clients through complex insurance situations as part of a team that includes principals, Account Executives, Underwriters, and clients.


You’ll be taking an active role in helping our clients deal with the risks they face. From conducting annual reviews and risk assessments to preparing risk management strategies and recommendations for further coverage, you’ll be deeply involved in helping our clients continue operating smoothly.


In addition to winning for our clients, you should be serious about advancing your career. The brokerage will pay for all your work-related courses as well as licensing and designation fees!


What’s Required?


  • Working toward CAIB, CIP, or CRM designations is an asset. (Remember, we’ll pay for these!)
  • Minimum of 3 years in a commercial lines department at an insurance company or brokerage.
  • RIBO license, or obtaining it within 6 months


What’s The Job?


  • Manage a book of business of mid-to-large sized commercial insurance accounts.
  • Deeply understand your clients' risks and develop comprehensive coverages for their needs.
  • Managing accounts receivable
  • Negotiate with underwriters and clients on coverages, rates, & premiums.
  • Work closely with the claims department and clients during negotiations & settlements.
