Chief Financial Officer Jobs

Our client, a leading organization in the construction space, is seeking a talented Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the development and execution of their financial strategy.

The CFO will oversee all financial operations, manage various departments, and ensure compliance with financial plans, policies, and regulations. They will provide strategic recommendations, collaborate with functional areas, and drive efficiency through automation and process improvements. The CFO will also analyze financial data, prepare reports, manage budgets, and advise stakeholders on long-term planning.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Evaluate and implement finance, accounting, and auditing procedures.
• Monitor budgets, ensure compliance, and provide financial analysis and recommendations.
• Optimize cash position, manage business risks, and review contracts.
• Develop and implement departmental strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
• Improve automated financial systems and oversee the acquisition of assets.
• Advise on long-term business and financial planning.
• Lead and develop the finance team through training and performance reviews.
• Manage relationships with investors, auditors, and external stakeholders.
• Manage accounting, finance, IT, and risk management functions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and support their strategies and goals.

Job Specifications:

• Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software; ERP system software experience an asset.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and time management skills.
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience.
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in accounting and finance.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance; Master's Degree strongly preferred.
