No marketing or business related experience is required as we offer in-house and on-site product training along with guidance, support, networking contacts, mentors and more.

As a Business Intern, you will have the opportunity to build professional skills whilst working closely with our PR specialists, Digital, Social media and brand marketing teams. Our internship program offers 12 weeks of paid experience, with the opportunity for permanent roles for certain candidates. In this role, you are given challenging work projects crafted to expose you to different opportunities and stretch your academic knowledge. You will also have the chance to explore what A plus has to offer and build networks for the future!

Initially, you will learn how to be the face and voice of our clients, so having a positive outlook, competitive nature, professional appearance and a great sense of humor are essential and a plus. You’ll receive ongoing training, so no marketing experience is required, but you must be open-minded, coachable, and willing to expand your comfort zone!

Some of your main duties will include:

• Face to face customer interaction Sales
• Planning, developing and implementing effective communication campaigns to customers and clients
• Undertaking analysis of customer's data
• Increasing Brand Awareness
• New customer acquisition

Compensation: Basic wage plus commission = $400-$650 (paid weekly)

Primary requirements:

• The ability to stand/be on your feet for several hours at a time when at an event
• At least 18 years old and eligible to work in Canada (no sponsorship options)
• Available to interview and start within 2 weeks’ time (on-site, in Halifax, NS)
• The ability to retain and recall a reasonable amount of product/service information
