Your new company

You will be working for a National property management company who are well known for both residential and commercial properties. They are looking for a Building Manager for one of their residential properties in Edmonton.

Your new role

You will be working as a Building Manager in a residential property comprising 267 units. You will report into the senior property manager and manage a team of 6-8 staff (Cleaners, Maintenance, Leasing and Admin). You will be responsible for the day to day running and coordination of the property. This will include but not limited to the maintenance, inspections, site security, health & safety, tenant communications and relations, reporting, budgeting, marketing & leasing. This can be a live-in OR live-out position.

What you'll need to succeed

You must have a minimum of 3-5 years Building/Resident Manager experience. You will be comfortable in leading, supporting and mentoring a team of staff. You will have strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities and the ability to deal with tenant complaints. You will be responsible for controlling the budget and all reporting so a strong financial acumen is required. Exposure/knowledge of Yardi is an asset.

What you'll get in return

You will receive a base salary up to $65,000, bonus, benefits, 3 weeks vacation a d a host of other perks. This position is available for live-in or live-out however salary will differ for live-in options.
