Bilingual Java Developer (English/French)

Job description:

Responsibility:

This position, in the Product Delivery team, has the mandate to evolve the back-end of our logistics warehouse management solution (WMS). Working in an agile environment (Scrum/Kanban), the Java developer will be required to perform the following tasks.

Main duties:

·Participate in all aspects of the SDLC (analysis, design, coding testing & implementation)

·Experience with distributed systems and service oriented architecture

·Solid concepts in multi-threaded programming

·Code solutions that meet the business requirements in a timely and accurate manner

·Capability to approach problems as challenges and deal with them positively and constructively.

·Sets an example for team members in the following manner: a focus on client delivery, preparedness, organization, a positive attitude, and respect for others.

Requirements:

·DEC or Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field;

·Languages: Strong in Core Java 8 and upper (9/10/11 etc.),

·Strong knowledge of relational databases [SQL, JDBC, DB2, Oracle] and entity frameworks like hibernate Web containers: Tomcat, Jenkins (or others)

·Framework: J2EE, Spring (Hibernate, Boot, Batch, MVC)

·Tools: IntelliJ, Eclipse, Maven, Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins

Nice to have:

·Knowledge in network protocols such as HTTP, TLS, TCP

·Experience with design patterns

·Experience with test driven development

·Experience with dependency injection containers
