Job Description

Role:Java Web Developer

location: Montreal, QC

Experience: 5+ Years

JD:

Skills Required: -

Strong backend programming skills in Java, Multithreading, Restful/SOAP Services, JPA/SQL with 5+ years of work experience.

- Experience working with JavaScript framework (ex. Angular, React, or Extjs), HTML/CSS.

- Experience working with Spring framework.

- Experience developing distributed, performance-critical, highly available, or large-scale systems

- Experience building distributed applications running on Unix/Linux platform

- Experience working with Enterprise level database (ex. DB2)

- Experience working with Source Code Management solutions like (ex. Git)

- Experience testing software (e.g. Unit testing, performance testing/tuning)

- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

- Good verbal and written communication skills

- A Team Player Skills Desired: - Familiarity with Spring Data JPA. - SOA, MQ Series, CXF, DB2, IVY/Ant, Swagger an asset.

- Experience in either Eclipse IDE or Visual Studio Code

- Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree of Computer Science, Computer Application, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
