Nissan Canada Extended Services Inc. (NCESI) is looking for a Bilingual (French and English) Automotive Claims Analyst - Mississauga, ON, Canada to strengthen the company's portfolio and risk management for Extended Service Contracts (ESC) and Prepaid Maintenance Plans (PMP) for all-makes including Nissan/Infiniti. The role will be embedded in the NCESI claims team and reporting to the operations supervisor.


Job functions Include but are not limited to:
  • Analyze, assess and pre-approve/decline submissions from Dealers; Provide guidance to Dealer staff and adjust dealer service contract repair claims through emails and phone calls
  • Process and investigate claims: Process daily ESC/PMP claims and review ESC/PMP repair order documentation to verify compliance
  • In collaboration with your Claims Adjuster team member, you will liaise with the NCESI President, Operations Manager, Analyst, and Field Support Team to inform and advise them about claim submission approvals and processing and to answer any inquiries. Process requests and inquiries sent from Field Staff relative to approvals in the form of memos and respond to those individuals. Address Field requests for specific claims reports in order to modify Dealer behavior
  • Update existing claims guidelines in cooperation with the team in US
  • Claims Adjustment
  • Provide dealer support to regions regarding NCESI-related issues (claims, policy and procedures)
  • Enhance existing measures to ensure a healthy portfolio development
  • Portfolio Analysis
  • Identify risks and develop mitigants for NCESI's management
  • Define KPIs to measure the quality of the portfolio and to identify adverse developments by product, model and dealership
  • Build a database to continuously analyze the portfolio development and generate regular claims and portfolio reports


Minimum Qualifications:


Education & Experience


  • Strong technical knowledge of automotive mechanics
  • Automotive technical experience at dealership or manufacturer as Service Writer, Service Technician, Service Advisor or Warranty Administrator is an asset
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Word, Powerpoint and Excel
  • University or College degree (automotive, insurance, or engineering) preferred, or proof of Red Seal Certification for the trades of Automotive Service Technician (310S) active and registered in the Province of Ontario (or any other province provided an inter-provincial license has been granted), or have completed an Automotive Service Technician Apprenticeship Program
  • Nissan dealership experience is preferred
  • Must be fluent in English and French, both verbal and writing
  • 1 to 2 years of automotive related experience with 1-year specialization in mechanical repair
