The Business Continuity manager provides overall governance and hands-on support to business units in the development of business unit recovery plans and BC related documents, leveraging existing efforts and best practices.

Responsibilities

Develops and maintains policies and procedures that provide consistent and strategic business recovery governance, direction and oversight

Conduct and maintain business impact assessments (BIA)

Provides guidance to and manages the efforts of cross functional team members in the development of effective recovery procedures for the restoration of key corporate resources and for the resumption of critical business processes of the organization

Establishes business recovery testing methodologies, schedules and plans

Facilitating business continuity exercises via tabletop exercises to test the effectiveness of business continuity plans and identify gaps

Train Business Continuity SMEs to prepare them for their expected tasks to ensure recoverability of business processes and supporting services for their business units

Partner and collaborate with IT disaster recovery team to ensure alignment for IT DR and BCM for recovery, testing and documentation of critical applications

Prepare presentations/reports for BCM Steering Committee

Collaborate with Crisis Management, Physical Security teams and other business units to progress the BCM program

Basic Qualifications

• Business Continuity Industry Certification(s) from DRII (CBCP or MBCP)
• 8+ years' experience working in business continuity/disaster recovery
• Experience providing guidance on emergency response, crisis management, disaster recovery and business resumption planning.
• Working knowledge of business continuity management software and mass/emergency notification tools
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
• Strong written and verbal skills with an ability to interface with management and staff at all levels within the organization
• Motivated, enthusiastic and conscientious self-starter
• Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Typically requires a minimum of 8-10 years of related Cybersecurity experience
• Experience with cyber technology integrations
• Strong meeting organization and facilitation skills.
• Familiarity with cloud structure and security monitoring capabilities for Azure and O365
• Leadership and adaptability when facing unique challenges encountered to effectively work with individuals in diverse cultures and business environments.
• Proven ability to work independently and in a multi-tasking environment with strong analytical and conflict resolution skills.
• Experience in creating process and procedure documentation
• Familiarity computer networking concepts and protocols; industry-standard and organizationally accepted analysis principles and methods; and network security methodologies
• Certifications in CISSP/CISM/CRISC/PMP/COBIT/TOGAF a plus.
• Knowledge of the corporate cybersecurity threat landscape, cyber threats and vulnerabilities, system and application security threats
• Strong work ethic and a proactive mindset with ability to think “outside of the box” to solve problems.
• Demonstrated experience with data analysis, documentation and reporting
